Sea glass is the product of both man and nature. Bottles, jars and glass carelessly discarded are tumbled by the oceans to form these unique and colourful gems. Unlike traditional gems used in jewellery which are created in nature and refined by man. These gems of the sea are created by man and refined by nature to become smooth frosty gems that we find lying on the sand.
It takes years of being tumbled in the sea to become to the highly sought-after sea glass you will find in our jewellery. Some of the glass is hundreds of years old and some say that that the pirate glass we use may come from the Spanish Armada supply ships that sank off the northeast coast.
Whether or not the sea glass jewellery dates back quite that far we cannot say but one thing we can guarantee is that each piece of sea glass we use is genuine and unique.
